Data Scientist

2020 - 2021

I spearheaded the development and deployment of a statistical model. This model was meticulously crafted to estimate missing time events during the intermodal phase of container cargo. Leveraging tools such as Python, Lambda Functions, Azure Functions, and Oracle DB, I successfully integrated this model into an in-house customer-facing product through a serverless API.

Decision Scientist

2016 - 2020

During my tenure of nearly 4 years at Mu Sigma Inc., I held various roles that allowed me to dive deep into the realm of data science and analytics.

As a Decision Scientist from June 2019 to August 2020 in Bengaluru, Karnataka, I led a dynamic team of four, focusing on the design and execution of analytical solutions for a prototype engagement. Our prime project involved harnessing advanced NLP techniques to develop an end-to-end data ingestion and insight generation pipeline. This pipeline tapped into data from online medical communities, ensuring both the reliability of social media and the extraction of invaluable insights centered around patients and informal caregivers. Throughout this endeavor, we collaborated with various stakeholders, innovated unique modules, and leveraged state-of-the-art technologies to deliver exceptional results.

Prior to this, from July 2017 to June 2019, I embarked on my journey as a Trainee Decision Scientist at the same location. My role entailed partnering with a U.S.-based healthcare organization's shared service team, providing them with comprehensive analytical, programming, and design support in the field of Real World Evidence. I championed the importance of data visualization tools, partook in automation initiatives, and consistently shared knowledge on a range of HEOR topics. My hands-on experience with various databases and tools empowered me to contribute significantly to the business development efforts of the organization.

My initial role at the company began in October 2016 as a Resource Management Executive in Bangalore, where I served for 9 months. I was entrusted with the end-to-end management of organizational requirements. From rolling out key initiatives like the Employee Rotation Program to collaborating with leadership to enhance utilization, my responsibilities were diverse. I also played a pivotal role in orienting new members about the organization's ideology and initiatives.
